Enayetullah Khan is the founder of Cosmos Group and WildTeam. Khan pursued Journalism in his academic career at Dhaka University obtaining a Master of Arts in the subject and joining the Faculty as a Lecturer. An alumnus of the Georgetown Leadership Programme, he has been a Guest Lecturer at Columbia University, New York. He is a founding member of the National University of Singapore – Medicine International Council (NIC). As a media entrepreneur, Khan established the United News of Bangladesh (UNB) and transformed it into the first digitized wire service in South Asia. He is the Founding Editor of the Dhaka Courier – a National Newsweekly Notably. Khan was inducted into the Board of the Association for Accountability and Internet Democracy (AAID), a premier watchdog for free speech on the internet. A well-known patron of the Arts. Khan is also an avid lover of nature, a committed environmentalist and Oceans activist, championing initiatives to protect the Royal Bengal Tiger and for conservation of the resources of the Bay of Bengal. He has authored ‘Bay of Bengal: Of Bounties Untold’. ‘The Bangladesh Sundarbans’ (on the world’s largest mangrove forest and a UNESCO Heritage Site): ‘Bangladesh: Splendours of the Past’ (on Bangladesh’s archaeological heritage) and ‘Bangabandhu: Epitome of a Nation’ (on Father of the Nation). Besides Dhaka, Khan divides his time between Singapore, Vancouver, and Connecticut.
