The fellow will conduct research and write in her/his areas of interest (which must focus on public policy issues in Bangladesh and/or US-Bangladesh relations), publish research through the Wilson Center and beyond, and will have the opportunity to interact with policymakers and thought leaders in Washington. The fellow will also contribute substantively to the Wilson Center’s Bangladesh programming and research. Upon completion of the fellowship, the fellow will be expected to have finished a substantive research product resulting in a monograph, a series of articles, or a book.
Cosmos Foundation – Wilson Center Fellowship, housed within the South Asia Institute, is a core component of a Wilson Center Bangladesh initiative that builds on and expands the Center’s years of in-depth scholarship and programming on both security and non-security aspects of the US-Bangladesh relationship. The new Bangladesh initiative will host conferences and other activities on Bangladesh meant to help inform the thinking of policymakers, business leaders, journalists, and others focused on or interested in Bangladesh and/or US-Bangladesh relations.
